Isla’s partnership with Rotunda Hospital aligns with the Ireland Health Service Executive’s (HSE) Digital Health Roadmap, transforming maternity care through targeted digital innovation.

The HSE’s roadmap prioritises six core principles: empowering patients as partners, enhancing workforce capabilities, enabling connected care, driving data-focused services, fostering a digital health ecosystem, and securing robust digital foundations.

By having the Isla system in the Rotunda, it gives women the opportunity to have improved continuity of care for wound management, and also allows us to quickly share information leaflets by electronic means.

This electronic transfer of leaflets is much more in line with the  modern world and saves considerable time for clinical and admin staff.
