Supporting data-based clinical decision making

We provide clinicians with the platform they need to receive, review and store rich media data directly from patients. Clinicians are also able to capture data and submit straight to the platform. This provides valuable clinical context for decision making whilst delivering convenient care for patients. The Isla platform is intuitive, endlessly scalable and approved by NHS Digital as a cloud storage solution.

How Isla works

Capture

Photos, videos or forms are requested from patients or their carers via SMS or email link. Patients submit requested data directly to the platform. Clinicians can also submit visual data from clinics or home visits.

Review

Clinicians involved in a patient’s care are able to see the progression of a condition over time and make decisions about treatment or referral quickly and without the need for a face-to-face appointment.

Monitor

Automated schedules and customisable workflows enable remote monitoring which flag patients that are most at risk and helps avoid face-to-face appointments where appropriate.

Make data useful - graphs and forms

The Isla platform allows clinicians to select and compare up to three images in a patient’s collection at a time

After images have been compared they can be downloaded to pdf format for further review. Select to compare is one of several functionality options on the Isla platform for the easy comparison of data.

Isla allows information submitted via patient forms, repeated forms relating to one condition, to be presented either as a graph or table for assessment and export as csv file.

Manage your clinics with automations

Where an integration is enabled with is enabled with Isla, automations can be fully configured based on appointments saved into Isla. These automations include scheduled requests and reminders ahead of or following appointments.

Video uploading and reviewing

Isla supports video submissions which can be used across a range of applications:

Isla converts submitted videos to an optimised format to render back to reviewers with minimum buffering on browser. Further, videos can be played back in fast forward or slow motion to allow clinical users to work as efficiently as possible.
